France-based pipe manufacturer Vallourec has announced that it has extended the scope and the duration of its current supply contract worth $900 million with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to January 2027. Both companies had first inked the contract back in 2019. The extension will enter into force in January 2025.

Accordingly, the French manufacturer will continue to provide tubes and connections to ADNOC for both conventional and complex applications in onshore and offshore oil and gas fields. In addition, the scope of the contract has been expanded to include local pipe coating and digital services such as Tallyvision, which facilitates pipe installation operations.

Under the extension, Vallourec has received a new order for the supply of 27,000 mt of tubes, which will be produced at its plants in France, Brazil, China and Indonesia. The company will start delivery of the tubes at the end of this year.
