Venezuelan state-run companies have posted marginal production figures in 2019, according to local media reports.

State-run steelmaker Sidor did not produce steel, according to a media report from Cronica Uno. Iron ore producer Ferrominera reportedly produced 12 percent its total capacity of 25 million mt/year.

Venezuela has been facing serious political and economic crises, and increased inflation has severely affected the local industrial sector.
