Wuhan Steel sees 18.36 percent rise in net profit in Jan-Sept

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp. (WISCO) has announced that in the first nine months of the current year its listed subsidiary Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. Ltd achieved an operating revenue of RMB 66.101 billion ($10.77 billion), down 8.34 percent year on year, while it recorded a net profit of RMB 770 million ($125.41 million), up 18.36 percent year on year.
