Xinghua Steel develops 175 mm x 175 mm H-section structural steel

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Xinghua Iron and Steel Co. (Xinghua Steel) has announced that it has successfully developed production of 175 mm x 175 mm H-section structural steel.

The product in question is wide-flange H-section steel, mainly used in the core columns of steel structures for buildings. It is widely applied in countries with high levels of seismic activity, such as Japan.
