Xining Special Steel inks strategic agreement with China CNR

Qinghai Province-based Chinese steelmaker Xining Special Steel Co. has announced that it has inked a strategic agreement with Chinese state-owned company China North Locomotive and Rolling Stock Industry Group Corporation Limited (China CNR). Accordingly, the two sides will establish a strategic partnership in the fields of research and development for new products and finished steel supply.

China CNR is a leading company in China’s rolling stock industry and an important member of the rail transportation equipment manufacturing industry worldwide. It focuses primarily on the manufacturing and refurbishment of rolling stock, including high-speed Multiple Units (MUs), locomotives, passenger coaches, freight wagons, rapid transit vehicles, railway engineering machinery and equipment and core system and components of rolling stock.
