In June this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output increased by 18.4 percent year on year to 300,900 mt, its pig iron production moved up by 26.4 percent to 349,100 mt, while its crude steel production rose by 9.5 percent year on year to 335,200 mt, according to the company's results.
In the January-June period this year, Zaporizhstal saw a 14.6 percent year-on-year increase in its finished steel product output to 1.81 million mt and a 28.2 percent year-on-year rise in its pig iron output to 2.14 million mt, while its crude steel production went up by 7.7 percent year on year to 2.03 million mt.
