Notable rebar, wire rod, pipe and plate shipments into the US, Sept. 27-Oct. 3

Rebar:

  • 4,924 metric tons of rebar arrived in Houston, Texas on October 3 from Black Sea and Sea of Marmara ports, Turkey.
  • 11,759 metric tons of rebar arrived in Houston, Texas on October 3 from Black Sea and Sea of Marmara ports, Turkey (different consignee).
Wire rod:
  • Three shipments totaling 3,864 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on September 29 from Mediterranean region ports, Turkey.
Pipe:
  • 3,433 metric tons of ERW API 5ct pipe arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on September 29 from the Port of Saigon, Vietnam.
Plate:
  • Four shipments totaling 3,810 metric tons of hot rolled steel plate arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on October 1 from the Port of Monfalcone, Italy.
