Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC exports with their South American clients in a reference price of $890/mt, against $880/mt two weeks ago, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades.
In November, Brazil exported 22,200 mt and imported 44,800 mt of HRC, against respectively 42,400 mt and 67,200 mt in October.
The exports of November were all destined to South American countries, shipped by ArcelorMittal (17,600 mt at $572/mt), Usiminas (2,600 mt at $891/mt) and Gerdau (2,000 mt at $609/mt), FOB conditions.
The imports were from China (39,200 mt at $588/mt) and South Korea (5,600 mt at $629/mt), also FOB conditions.
In the Brazilian domestic market, HRC of the basic commercial grades is sold by producers, in medium to large volumes, at BRL 5,400/mt ($1,091/mt), ex-works, no taxes included, against BRL 5,300/mt two weeks ago.
