Brazilian HRC export price stable from two weeks ago

Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC exports with their South American clients in a reference price of $880/mt, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades, stable from two weeks ago.

In October, Brazil exported 42,400 mt of HRC in average at $708/mt and imported 67,200 mt at $602/mt, against respectively 5,300 mt at $638/mt and 88,900 mt at $663/mt in September, all FOB conditions.

In the Brazilian domestic market, HRC of the basic commercial grades is sold by producers, in medium to large volumes, at BRL 5,300/mt ($1,082/mt), ex-works, no taxes included, also stable in BRL from two weeks ago.
