Brazilian HRC export price stable from two weeks ago

Brazilian steelmakers are negotiating HRC exports with their South American clients at a reference price of $890/mt, stable from two weeks ago, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades.

In November, Brazil exported 22,200 mt of HRC, in average at $613/mt, and imported 44,800 mt at $593/mt, against respectively 42,400 mt at $708/mt and 67,200 mt at $602/mt in October, both FOB conditions.

In the Brazilian domestic market, HRC of the basic commercial grades is sold by producers, in medium to large volumes, at BRL 5,400/mt ($1,118/mt), ex-works, no taxes included, also stable from two weeks ago.
