Cleveland Cliffs announces US flat rolled steel increase

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. today announced that it is increasing current spot market base prices by $3.00 cwt. ($66/mt or $60/nt) for all carbon hot rolled, cold rolled and coated steel products, effective immediately with all new orders. Cliffs’ minimum base price for hot rolled steel is now set at $45 cwt. ($992/mt or $900/nt) FOB mill.
