Overall trading activity in the domestic steel section market has been slow in the past seven days. The support from upstream billet prices is still strong, but the demand side is still weak due to the off-season . Meanwhile, production volumes are still at normal levels, causing market inventory to increase, exerting some pressure on steel section prices. As for the week ahead, considering the low demand and high inventory, it is believed that steel section prices may fluctuate with some small declines possible.
