Iskenderun-based Turkish mill cuts its rebar price

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, May 15, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has cut its rebar price by TRY 200/mt ($5/mt) to TRY 23,500/mt ($607/mt) ex-works, amid currency fluctuations and sluggish demand, as compared to Monday, May 6. In addition, the mill has kept its wire rod price stable at $610/mt ex-works today. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 32.28 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
