Iskenderun-based Turkish mill cuts longs prices as week ends

SteelOrbis has been informed that, today, March 22, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has decreased its rebar price by TRY 550/mt ($10/mt) to TRY 23,450/mt ($611/mt) ex-works, compared to Friday, March 15, against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand. In addition, the mill has also cut its wire rod price by $20/mt to $610/mt ex-works today. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 32,00 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
