Iskenderun-based Turkish mill hikes its longs prices

SteelOrbis has been informed that, today, December 8, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has raised its rebar price by another TRY 200/mt ($4/mt), from the previous day, to TRY 22,000/mt ($632/mt) ex-works, against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and costlier scrap and billet. In addition, the mill has hiked its wire rod price by $10/mt to $640/mt ex-works over the same period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 28.99 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
