Iskenderun-based Turkish mill increases its rebar price

SteelOrbis has been informed that, today, December 4, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has increased its rebar price by TRY 300/mt ($9/mt), as compared to Friday, December 1, to TRY 21,600/mt ($623/mt) ex-works, amid costlier import scrap and currency fluctuations. In addition, the mill has kept its wire rod price stable at $630/mt ex-works over the same period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 28.89 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
