Iskenderun-based Turkish mill issues its longs prices

SteelOrbis has been informed that, today, January 9, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 22,600/mt ($629/mt) ex-works, amid ongoing currency fluctuations and the positive sentiment in the import scrap and billet segments. In addition, the mill has raised its wire rod price by $10/mt to $650/mt ex-works today. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 29,93 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate. The mill's longs sales had been closed since Tuesday, January 2.
