Iskenderun-based Turkish mill issues its longs prices

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, May 6, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has decreased its rebar price by TRY 300/mt ($6/mt) to TRY 23,700/mt ($612/mt) ex-works, against the backdrop of the appreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar and sluggish demand, as compared to Monday, April 29. In addition, the mill has cut its wire rod price by $5/mt to $610/mt ex-works today. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 32.27 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
