Iskenderun-based Turkish mill raises its rebar price

SteelOrbis has been informed that, today, January 11, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 22,750/mt ($632/mt) ex-works, against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and costlier scrap. The rebar price indicates a TRY 150/mt ($3/mt) rise compared to Tuesday, January 9. In addition, the mill has kept its wire rod price stable at $650/mt ex-works today. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 30,00 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
