Iskenderun-based Turkish mill raises its rebar price slightly

SteelOrbis has been informed that, today, December 7, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has hiked its rebar price by TRY 200/mt ($5/mt), as compared to Monday, December 4, to TRY 21,800/mt ($628/mt) ex-works, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and the positive sentiment in the import scrap segment. In addition, the mill has kept its wire rod price stable at $630/mt ex-works over the same period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 28.93 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
