Iskenderun-based Turkish mill revises its rebar price

SteelOrbis has been informed that, today, March 29, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has increased its rebar price by TRY 200/mt ($4/mt) compared to yesterday to TRY 24,100/mt ($620/mt) ex-works, amid the positive sentiment in the import scrap segment. In addition, the mill has kept its wire rod price at $610/mt ex-works today. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 32,38 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.

Yesterday, the mill had hiked its rebar price by TRY 150/mt ($2/mt) to TRY 23,900/mt ($616/mt) ex-works, with an exhange rate of $1 = TRY 32.34 yesterday, compared to Wednesday March 27.

$1 = TRY 32.38
