Local Turkish official wire rod prices stable, discounts possible for serious buyers

Over the past week, most Turkish mills have kept  their official wire rod prices stable, while according to sources the workable wire rod prices are close to  $600-620/mt ex-works for serious buyers only.

One Iskenderun-based mill has kept its wire rod price at $610/mt ex-works.

Kardemir has issued its 6-27 mm SAE 1008-1010 grade steel grade wire rod price at $605/mt ex-works today.

One Iskenderun-based mill is expected to start its maintenance works at the beginning of next week and will most probably complete them by the Feast of Sacrifice holiday.

The above prices, which are on actual weight basis, exclude 20 percent VAT and are on ex-works basis. The offers may differ depending on the buyers and order sizes.
