Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has revised its longs prices after a long break, against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and costlier import scrap. The mill has raised its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 485/mt ($5/mt) to TRY 17,980/mt ($575/mt) ex-works compared to Monday, October 16. The supplier has also increased its wire rod price, by TRY 340/mt to TRY 18,140/mt ($580/mt) ex-works, while keeping it unchanged on US dollar basis. Both long product prices include 10 percent VAT.

The mill had kept its official dollar-based longs prices stable over a long period.

One Marmara-based mill has issued its rebar price at $580/mt ex-works today.
