Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has raised its longs prices, amid ongoing currency fluctuations and costlier import scrap, as compared to Wednesday, November 22. The mill has increased its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 395/mt to TRY 18,775/mt ($590/mt) ex-works. The supplier has also hiked its wire rod price, by TRY 390/mt to TRY 19,410/mt ($610/mt) ex-works. Both long product prices include 10 percent VAT and indicate a $10/mt increase on US dollar basis.
