Earlier today, January 17, Turkish mill Kardemir cut its merchant bar prices by $30/mt, while its kept its prices of all sizes of HEA (Std) stable, as compared to its previous price list issued on Tuesday, November 28. The list prices are shown below. Sources report that around 35,000 mt of merchant bar have been traded, though the final tonnage has not been confirmed by the time of publication.
