Over the past two weeks, Turkish mills have kept their official wire rod prices unchanged against the backdrop of the sluggish demand. Sources report that, though list prices have remained stable, additional sizeable discounts are still available to serious buyers.

One Iskenderun-based mill has this week kept its wire rod price at $610/mt ex-works once again.

Most market players are just back from the holiday and are monitoring import scrap and billet prices before making any purchases.
