Today, November 30, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have mostly increased by TRY 100/mt ($4/mt) compared to Monday, November 27, against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations, while rebar spot prices in the Marmara region have fallen by TRY 100/mt ($2/mt). Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 20,100-20,700/mt or $581-598/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region, with an exchange rate of $1 = TRY 28.85.

Icdas has today kept its official dollar-based rebar price unchanged at $580/mt ex-works. The general rebar price range varies at $580-605/mt ex-works in the Marmara and Izmir regions, stable since the beginning of this week.

One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 21,000/mt ex-works, equal to $607/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate. In addition, a few re-rollers in this region are offering rebar at TRY 20,800/mt ($601/mt) ex-warehouse.

Most Turkish mills are attempting to keep their local rebar prices stable due to the expected slowdown in trading activity in the export segment ahead of the holiday season.

As of today, rebar offers in the Turkish spot market are as follows:
