Official wire rod prices in Turkey have mostly decreased by $15-30/mt, while only remaining stable in the Iskenderun region, as compared to Tuesday, April 15, amid weaker import scrap prices and ongoing currency fluctuations.
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are at around $545-570/mt, down by $15-20/mt over the same period, depending on the region.
One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its wire rod price at $585/mt ex-works today, April 22.
