SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 9,700-10,400/mt ($302-324/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 38,000-40,500/mt ($1,185-1,263/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late September shipments.
