Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 48, 2023

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have risen by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) over the past week to NTD 11,200-11,900/mt ($358-381/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 4,000/mt ($128/mt) stable over the past week to NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,168-1,248/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-to-late December shipments.
