Two Izmir-based Turkish producers have cut their ship scrap procurement prices today, December 6, by $10-13/mt to $375-393/mt, moving down from $375-403/mt, for delivery to mill by truck. This move was not considered as a change of pricing strategy but as a downward correction to sustainhealthy scrap flow to yards. Also, Çebitaş is now back in the market with its price at $375/mt, delivered.
