Turkish ship scrap quotations move up, upper end hits $410/mt

Two Izmir-based producers have raised their ship scrap procurement prices by $17/mt as compared to the levels recorded on December 6. The ship scrap procurement quotations increased on the upper end from $375-393/mt to $375-410/mt for delivery to mill by truck. İDÇ and Çebitaş are still representing the lower end.

In Turkey’s Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
