Overseas demand for Czech seamless pipes is gradually recovering after the vacation season. Czech suppliers have attempted a price increase citing positive expectations and the uptrend in the raw material segment. As a result, export offers of seamless pipes from Czech suppliers have moved up by €60-80/mt ($79-105/mt) over the past month. Market sources believe seamless pipe demand will improve slowly in the coming month, enabling Czech suppliers to maintain prices at the increased levels.

Current export prices for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless bare pipes (without varnish coating) of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €930-960/mt ($1,220-1,259/mt), while 3/4"-1" seamless pipes are at €1,050-1,070/mt ($1,378-1,404/mt) FCA.

Current export quotations for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless pipes of steel grade B made to ASTM A106/API 5L from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at around €960-990/mt ($1,259-1,299/mt) FCA, while 3/4"-1" seamless pipes are at €1,080-1,100/mt ($1,417-1,443/mt) FCA.
