Local Chinese steel pipe prices have mostly showed a stable trend during the past week.

Local Chinese seamless pipe prices have moved sideways or up slightly during the past week. Overall trading activity has been weak. In some parts of the country, due to low inventory some traders have chosen to raise their quoted prices slightly. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices will follow a stable trend as the long holiday draws closer.

Chinese domestic welded pipe prices have showed a stable trend during the past week. Overall trading activity has remained sluggish since most producers and downstream buyers are already on holiday. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices will continue their stable trend.
