Local Chinese steel pipe prices have declined during the past week.

Local Chinese seamless pipe prices have continued to decrease during the past week. Overall trading activity has been weak. Upstream billet prices first indicated an increase but then softened. As for the week ahead, amid the weakness of both supply and demand, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may continue their soft trend.

Chinese domestic welded pipe prices have again followed a downward trend during the past week, influenced by declines in prices of steel strip and other steel products. Overall demand is still weak as most traders wait and see. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may continue their downward trend.
