On Friday, May 29, two US manufacturers, Alabama Metal Industries Corp. and Fisher and Ludlow, filed antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) petitions against steel grating from China.

The US International Trade Commission will make its preliminary injury determination by July 13.

Preliminary dumping or subsidy determinations by the DOC (if the investigation follows a “normal” schedule) will be made August 24, 2009 in the CVD case, and November 5, 2009 in the AD case.

SteelOrbis will release more information on these cases as they become available.
