ArcelorMittal CLN Distribuzione Italia (ArcelorMittal CLN), a joint venture of ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions Italia (AMDSI) and Italy-based CLN Group, has announced that it has acquired 100 percent of Ciocca Lamiere S.r.l., a service center for the pre-processing of coils, located in the industrial area of Arcore, Italy.

Ciocca Lamiere processes steels with low carbon content, both hot rolled pickled as well as cold rolled and coated (galvanized, electrogalvanized, aluminized, prepainted), turning them into sheets, tapes, strips and squares. The company enters ArcelorMittal CLN with its own production assets and marketing placement.

ArcelorMittal CLN stated that, through this transaction, it strengthens its leadership in the domestic market, in view of the current process of consolidation.
