ArcelorMittal Temirtau’s crude steel output rises 10.3 percent in 2011

In 2011, ArcelorMittal Temirtau, the largest metallurgical enterprise in Kazakhstan, increased its crude steel production by 10.3 percent compared to 2010, to 3.684 million mt.

In the given year, ArcelorMittal Temirtau's pig iron production increased by 8.5 percent to 3.141 million mt, its rolled steel production surged by 8.5 percent to 3.166 million mt, its production of agglomerate went up by 11.4 percent to 5.856 million mt, its iron ore concentrate production increased by 5.2 percent to 3.956 million mt, while its coal output decreased by 2.3 percent to 10.620 million mt - all on year-on-year basis.
