Argentinian rebar prices up in April

Argentinian rebar prices in April rose 5.6 percent, month-on-month, according to a report this week from local statistics agency Indec.

Rebar was among the products whose cost increased the most within the general expenses category in April, on a month-on-month basis.

The cost of civil construction in the greater Buenos Aires area in April improved 2 percent, month-on-month. Cost of materials in April grew 4.2 percent, while workforce costs rose 0.5 percent, both on a month-on-month basis.

Indec said general expenses in the greater Buenos Aires in April grew 1.4 percent, also on a month-on-month analysis.
