Chilean rebar sales decline year-on-year in June

Chilean rebar sales dropped 2.3 percent in June, year-on-year, according to data released by the nation’s civil construction chamber, CChC.

CChC said local rebar sales in the sixth month of the year totaled 40,582 mt, 2.9 percent up, month-on-month, from 39,440 mt in May, but down from 41,545 mt in June 2017.

As for H1 2018, Chilean rebar sales rose 1 percent, compared to the same period year-on-year, to 257,756 mt, CChC said.
