China Shenhua Energy’s coal sales down 21.6 percent in May

China Shenhua Energy Company, a listed subsidiary of Shenhua Group - the largest coal company in China, has announced that in May this year its coal output amounted to 22.40 million mt, down 7.4 percent, while its coal sales totaled 28.70 million mt, decreasing by 21.6 percent, both year on year.

In the January-May period of the current year, China Shenhua Energy’s coal output totaled 117 million mt, rising by 0.4 percent, while its coal sales reached 148.3 million mt, increasing by 5.5 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
