China’s auto sales and output up in Nov from Oct levels

According to the latest figures issued by the China Automotive Industry Association (CAIA), in November this year China's auto output and sales totaled 1.695 million units and 1.656 million units respectively, rising by 7.95 percent and 8.6 percent compared to October but down 3.41 percent and 2.42 percent year on year.
 
In particular, Chinese passenger car output and sales in November were respectively 1.3741 million units and 1.3437 million units, marking an increase of 8.9 percent and 10.07 percent month on month and up 0.71 percent and 0.29 percent year on year. Meanwhile, commercial vehicle output and sales in China in the given month came to 320,900 units and 312,300 units respectively, climbing by 4.04 percent and 2.71 percent month on month but declining by 17.79 percent and 12.59 percent year on year.
