In November this year, the total automotive vehicle output in China (including passenger cars, trucks and buses) amounted to 1,761,400 units, up 3.9 percent year on year and rising by 11 percent month on month, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
In addition, in the given month China’s automotive vehicle sales amounted to 1,791,000 units, indicating a month-on-month increase of 11.5 percent and up 8.2 percent compared to November last year.
In the January-November period of this year, total automotive vehicle output in China amounted to 17,482,900 units, up 4.51 percent, while total domestic automotive vehicle sales amounted to 17,493,200 units, up 4.03 percent, both year on year.
The CAAM stated that China’s total automobile output and sales are both expected to exceed 19 million units in 2012.
In November this year, China’s automotive vehicle exports reached 91,700 units, up 22.9 percent year on year and rising by 5.8 percent month on month. In the January-November period of this year, China’s total automotive vehicle exports amounted to 964,700 units, up 27.2 percent compared to the same period last year.
