Chinese steelmaker Chengde Jianlong Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. has announced that it has successfully commissioned its new advanced medium bar mill provided by Germany-based engineering company FRIEDRICH KOCKS GmbH & Co KG and has produced its first bar with it.

Having a rolling capacity of one million mt per year, the newly built mill will allow Chengde Jianlong to produce high-quality steel products in larger dimensions.

In 2017, KOCKS also installed a finishing line at the Chinese steelmaker’s special bar quality mill, significantly improving product quality.
