China’s coke exports rise by 5.9 percent in Jan-Sept

In the first nine months this year, China exported 6.75 million mt of metallurgical coke, up 5.9 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.

In September alone, China exported 550,000 mt of metallurgical coke, decreasing by 31.7 percent year on year.

In the first nine months this year, China’s coal exports reached 5.16 million mt, up 62.6 percent year on year.

In September alone, China’s coal exports amounted to 480,000 mt, rising by 11 percent year on year.
