China’s CRC imports up 45 percent in June

China's CR coil export volume in June reached 35,900 mt, down 260,500 mt or 87.89 percent year on year, totaling $38 million in value, down $312 million or 89.01 percent compared with the same period last year. The average CR coil export price was $1,071.05/mt. Total January-June exports for this product reached 222,000 mt, down 1.1038 million mt or 83.26 percent, amounting to $212 million in value, down $1.374 billion or 86.62 percent year on year.

CR coil imports in June stood at 444,500 mt, up 138,700 mt or 45.36 percent year on year, totaling $306 million in value, down $22 million or 6.68 percent compared with the same period last year. The average import price was $688.49/mt. Total January-June CR coil imports reached 2.065 million mt, down 107,000 mt or 4.92 percent, amounting to a value of $1.492 billion, down $562 million or 27.36 percent year on year.
