China’s fixed asset investments increase by 7.2 percent in 2017

In 2017, total fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China amounted to RMB 63.1684 trillion ($9.8 trillion), up 7.2 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), with the year-on-year increase rate in question remaining stable compared to that recorded in the January-November period of last year. In December, fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China increased by 0.53 percent month on month. 

In 2017, total fixed asset investment in China's mining sector amounted to RMB 920.9 billion ($146.2 billion), down 10.0 percent year on year, while fixed asset investment in China's manufacturing sector totaled RMB 19.3616 trillion ($3.1 trillion), up 4.8 percent year on year.
