China’s new energy vehicle output up tenfold in November

In November this year, China produced 9,726 new energy vehicles, up 10 times year on year, with 3,540 pure electric passenger cars, 2,469 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, 1,640 pure electric commercial vehicles and 1,977 plug-in hybrid electric commercial vehicles, according to the data issued by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) on December 3.

In the January-November period of the year, China's new energy vehicles output amounted to 56,700 units, up five times year on year, with 25,800 pure electric passenger cars, 13,600 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, 7,363 pure electric commercial vehicles and 9,949 plug-in hybrid electric commercial vehicles.
