China’s scrap imports down 21.6 percent in H1

In June this year, China imported 170,000 mt of scrap, down 17.0 percent year on year, according to monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities.

In the first half of the current year, China imported one million mt of scrap, decreasing by 21.6 percent year on year.
