In the January-July period this year, 94 medium-size and large shipbuilding enterprises in China realized an aggregate gross industrial output value of RMB 238.0 billion ($35.84 billion), down 2.5 percent year on year, according to the figures released by the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI).
In the given period, the shipbuilding enterprises in question achieved aggregate exports totaling RMB 95.0 billion ($14.31 billion) in value, down 3.5 percent year on year.
In the January-July period, the shipbuilding enterprises recorded an aggregate operating revenue of RMB 166.0 billion ($25.0 billion), down four percent, and a total gross profit of RMB 2.5 billion ($0.38 billion), decreasing by 26.5 percent, both year on year.
